Jenks Results

Despite the rainy, icy weather, the team shined with victories at Jenks this year. All our varsity teams broke with 3-1 records out of prelims in the Champs division, in a field of 25 teams from Oklahoma and Missouri. Eihab-Natasha and Adam-Sidney finished as quarterfinalists, and Olivia-Defne finished as semifinalists. The "toddlers" -- frosh teams Fiona-Deja and Conner-Agnish -- debated "up" in the champs division for the first time ever, and they both came away with 2-2 records. It was a great learning experience in preparation for the tough competition in the novice round robin at the J.W. Patterson novice round robin next weekend.

"It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be," said Fiona.

The "babies" -- our seventh grade boys, Justin and Jackson -- traveled with us to compete in the novice round robin at Jenks. They continued to hold strong, finishing with a 2-2 record.

We left before the awards ceremony in order to beat the bad weather home, so I'll post any other awards as I hear of them. Great work, Casady!
